Mag : Breakfast

What do we have to eat for breakfast ?
To be well-balanced, breakfast has to be made of:
A drink: water, coffee, tea, milk (as you like). Sleeping dehydrate, we eliminate water while breathing, sweating, and urinating.
A product made of cereals: bread toasts, cereals… Glucids present in the cereals give our body the energy that it needs to start well the day.

A dairy product: milk, yoghourt, soft white cheese or anything else you want. This product will give you the calcium needed for a good bone’s health but also proteins and vitamins (A, D and B) which are really good for the organism.
A fruit: it provides fibres essential for our intestinal transit, vitamin C and rock salt essential to our vitality. Consume it preferably fresh, to benefit as well as possible of its nutritional qualities. Nevertheless, you can drink it in juice, but it will be less rich in fibres.

A little bit of fat and sugar: butter, rich in vitamin A, and honey or jam make it possible to eat at the same time balanced food and take pleasure.

This example of breakfast may seem a lot to you. But you should adapt the quantities to your hunger and not eat too much.

You don’t have to eat everything just after getting up: the most important thing is to have a good breakfast and eat what you have to during the morning.

Kid’s breakfast: their breakfast is essential to balance the contributions in energy and nutrients. It must be about 20% of the total contributions of the day

Contrary to a spread idea, the French children and teenagers are rather respectful of this rule, since less than 10% of them do not have breakfast.

An energetic and balanced breakfast is composed of a product containing cereals such as bread, toast, or cereals with a little butter, jam or honey according to the tastes, of a dairy product (milk, yoghourt, soft with cheese..) and of a fruit or a fruit’s juice with no sugar added.
